Guess who was moving today?! The pictures posted in the wrong order. We didn't carry everything by foot, but we did make several trips in the van and took a lot of boxes, bags, and furniture over to the house. Everything is a mess but it was exciting actually stuff moving in!

This weekend we went to Abilene to visit our friends Brady and Donna and to hear A Prairie Home Companion with Garrison Keillor be performed at ACU. It was a lot of fun seeing the show and knowing it was being broadcast around the world. There were a lot of jokes about Abilene and the school, like having to slide your card for chapel and not being allowed to dance except in your living room. I was glad we went even if it makes us old!

I'm finally posting some new pictures. I just realized that I haven't done that in nearly a year. The last pictures were from San Diego and Kellye posted them for me! A lot has changed in the past year...we really are about to move in...I know I've said that for a year or more but we now have a working bathroom. Here are some pictures of the screened in porch, the kitchen table, the finished bathroom, and the storage room with stuff I moved over a couple of weeks ago. Most of the rooms are all painted and we have carpet upstairs and in one room downstairs. Note the rabbit ears on our little tv out on the porch. You may laugh, but it's really nice out there in the cool evenings sitting on the couch, drinking a Henry's root beer, and watching the Office. This house building thing has been a long process--longer for Justin who has been building it--but still long for me. I'm glad we are near the end. It won't be 100% done when we move in (Justin is calling it a soft opening) but we're looking forward to unpacking some of the boxes that have been packed for nearly 3 years!
